ACT is a joint venture of HPH Trust and COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited. The Company manages two berths with a quay length of 740 meters and a depth alongside of 15.5 meters in Terminal 8 (West) of Kwai Tsing Container Port.
ACT is adjacent to COSCO-HIT and together they have a combined 1,380-metre contiguous berth. It enhances the overall operational flexibility and efficiency particularly when handling several mega-vessels simultaneously.
In January 2019, ACT, HIT, COSCO-HIT and Modern Terminals Limited established the Hong Kong Seaport Alliance, on which they collaborate to ensure the efficient management and operation of the 23 berths in Kwai Tsing.
