FIRST VESSEL CALL OF THE CRUISE SEASON AT CRISTOBAL CRUISE TERMINAL – PIER 6

[Panama – 24th October 2001] Panama Ports Company, S.A. (PPC) announces the start of its 2001-2002 cruise season with the first ever call of the vessel “Sun Princess” at Cristobal Cruise Terminal-Pier 6, with 2,022 passengers and 900 crew.

Pier 6 is ideally located to serve cruise vessels interested in enjoying the touristic wonders of the Province of Colon after transiting the Canal or cruising in the Caribbean. Located at the Caribbean entrance of the Panama Canal, Pier 6 allows the saving of valuable time for passengers looking forward to taking advantage of shore excursions.

Commenting on this event Mr. Alejandro Kouruklis, General Manager of PPC, said:
