HIT Signs Safety Charter Certificate

[21 February 2012 – Hong Kong] A signing ceremony was held on 16 February at Hongkong International Terminals (HIT) for the Occupational Safety Charter certificate, jointly issued by the Labour Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Council.

The purpose of the charter is to ensure that all business activities at the terminal are carried out in a manner that promotes the highest standards of safety and health for employees, contractors and visitors.

HIT Managing Director Ivor Chow, and Operations Services Delivery Supervisor, Wu Kin-fai, acting as Employee Representative, signed the document together with Executive Director of the Occupational Safety and Healthy Council, Tang Wah-shing, and Assistant Commissioner for Labour of the Labour Department, Tso Sing-hin
