Hutchison Ports Yantian, located in a natural deep-water port, is the leading gateway serving import and export container traffic generated by its immediate cargo hinterland in the Pearl River Delta region. In 2020, the terminal achieved a significant milestone with the concurrent reception of five 400-metre-long container vessels with respective dead weights of 200,000 tons and the ability to handle multiple mega-vessels concurrently is unmatched by any other port in the region.
