Chairman, Yantian International Container Terminals Limited (Hutchison Ports Yantian)

Mr. Ip has over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry. He joined Hutchison Ports HIT in 1993 as General Manager of Commercial and was promoted to Managing Director in 1998. His responsibilities soon expanded to cover Hutchison Ports Yantian and he became Managing Director of the South China Division of Hutchison Ports in 2001. In 2003, Mr. Ip took on expanded duties as the CEO of SupplyLINE Logistics Limited, the logistics business of Hutchison Ports. In 2005, he was appointed Executive Director on the Board of Hutchison Ports and assumed the corporate role as Head of Commercial of Hutchison Ports, while maintaining his responsibilities in the South China Division. Prior to the current position, he was appointed Deputy Group Managing Director of Hutchison Ports in 2013.

Diana Lee

Group Chief Financial Officer, Hutchison Ports

Ms. Lee was appointed to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2022. She was the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Investor Relations Officer of the trustee-manager of HPH Trust (“Trustee-Manager”) in May 2016, having been the Deputy CFO of the Trustee-Manager since February 2011. She is also the Finance and Legal Director and Company Secretary of YANTIAN, and serves as a member of the HPH Trust Exco, a committee of executives that determines strategy for HPH Trust. She has held various executive positions at Hutchison Port Holdings Limited (“HPH”). She has focused on the financial planning and corporate finance area of the South China division of HPH, and served as the CFO of several HPH subsidiaries. Since 2006, she has also served as a director on a number of HPH Trust's business portfolio assets. Ms. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Melbourne and is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Clemence Cheng

Executive Director, Hutchison Ports

Chief Executive Officer, HPUK & Port of Felixstowe

Mr Cheng has overall management responsibility for 13 business units across Europe and including the Company’s investment in Egypt.

Mr Cheng, a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, joined Hutchison Ports in 1998 and has held various senior positions in the Company.  Prior to joining Hutchison Ports, he was an Executive Director of Cazenove & Co, with responsibility for its Asia Capital Market and Corporate Finance activities.  He spent the early part of his career in banking with Citibank and then Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong.

Mr Cheng graduated from University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree.

Andy Tsoi

Executive Director, Hutchison Ports
Managing Director, Middle East & Africa

Mr. Tsoi was appointed to the role of Managing Director, Middle East & Africa in January 2014. He oversees Hutchison Ports’ businesses in Pakistan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Iraq.

Previously, Mr. Tsoi was Regional Director for Pakistan, Oman and Saudi Arabia from 2011, adding UAE to his responsibilities from 2012. He joined Hutchison Ports in 1998.

Jorge Magno Lecona Ruiz

Managing Director, Latin America & Caribbean

Mr. Lecona was appointed Division Head for Latin America and CEO of Mexico Ports in 2010. In 2012, he was promoted to Managing Director of Latin America and CEO of Mexico Ports. His role was expanded to Managing Director of Latin America & Caribbean and CEO of Mexico Ports overseeing Mexico, Panama, Argentina and the Bahamas in 2013.

Mr. Lecona has more than 35 years of experience in the maritime port industries in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector he had a key participation in the privatisation of the Port of Veracruz in Mexico. He was also Director of the ports of Tuxpan in Veracruz and Progreso in Yucatan.

He is a member of the National Association of Maritime and Port Terminals and as Civil Engineer in the Mexican Association of Port and Maritime Coastal Engineering where he served as President of the Board between 2004 and 2007.

Paul Fan

Executive Director, Hutchison Ports
Managing Director, North Asia

Mr. Fan was appointed Managing Director of North Asia in July 2016 with management responsibilities for China and South Korea. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Hongkong United Dockyards Ltd, owned by members of CK Hutchison Group since September 2021.

Mr. Fan joined Hutchison Ports in 2011 as Finance Director of the Group and was appointed Managing Director of China in 2014 with additional responsibilities for Group Treasury, Corporate Finance and Risk Management.

Prior to joining Hutchison Ports, Mr. Fan held a number of senior finance executive positions at Motorola Asia Pacific in Hong Kong and Beijing and was the Head of Finance and Operations of Pearson Education for the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Fan qualified with Ernst and Young in the United Kingdom and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephen Ashworth

Managing Director, South East Asia

Mr. Ashworth was appointed Managing Director, South East Asia for Hutchison Ports in January 2017. Prior to his current position, he was Managing Director, Myanmar, Thailand & Vietnam between 2015 and 2016 and Chief Executive Officer of Hutchison Ports Indonesia between 2010 and 2014. He previously worked for Cheung Kong Hutchison Holdings and Hutchison Ports between 1992 and 2001 in a number of senior finance and management positions.

Between 2002 and 2010, Mr. Ashworth was Asia Pacific Chief Financial Officer for the Constituency Management Group (CMG), the marketing communications division of the US-listed Interpublic Group. During his time with CMG, he had overall responsibility for its finance function in the Asia Pacific region.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Andrew Cheng

Group Human Resources Director, Hutchison Ports

Mr. Cheng was promoted to Group Human Resources Director of Hutchison Ports in October 2019. Prior to the current role, he was successively appointed General Manager of our joint ventures in Zhuhai and Shanghai for a period of 10 years.

Mr. Cheng joined Hutchison Ports in 1986, has since excelled in a career path covering human resources management responsibilities in Hongkong International Terminals Limited, Yantian International Container Terminals Limited and COSCO-HIT Terminals (Hong Kong) Limited. Subsequent to that, he was assigned to Terminal Operations and was one of the leading project managers with extensive involvement in the development and implementation of our proprietary terminal management system, nGen, which stands for Next Generation.

He is a certified consultant of SAP and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management.
