SPARK & HUTCHISON PORTS SIGN A CONCESSION AGREEMENT TO DEVELOP A DRY PORT & BONDED LOGISTICS ZONE AREA IN THE WORLD’S MOST LEADING MEGA ENERGY HUBS IN SAUDI ARABIA

King Salman Energy Park (“SPARK”) and Hutchison Ports are pleased to announce the signing of the concession agreement to manage and operate SPARK’s dry port and bonded logistics zone (“Dry Port”). The concession was awarded to a newly established joint venture, Energy City Logistics Company (“ECLC”), between SPARK and Colour Path Holdings Limited, a Hutchison Ports company. A signing ceremony was held to commemorate the special occasion, and it was attended by senior management from both companies.

Boluda Towage Expands Presence in Asia through Strategic Investment in Hongkong Salvage & Towage Services

Boluda Towage (“Boluda”), the world’s largest tugboat operator, announces its strategic investment in Hongkong Salvage and Towage Services Limited (“HKSTS”), a new joint venture formed as a member of CK Hutchison Holdings. HKSTS’ principal services include salvage and towage and marine project management business. Through this collaboration, Boluda will be able to expand its business portfolio into Asia and enhance HKSTS service offerings of salvage and towage services, benefiting both companies, business customers and the maritime industry.

Port of Felixstowe and Westwell Agree Deal for 100 Autonomous Trucks

Port of Felixstowe, part of the Hutchison Ports’ network, and Shanghai Westwell Technology Co., Ltd (Westwell) have signed an agreement for an additional 100 battery-powered autonomous Q-Trucks. The order follows a tender exercise and a thorough testing and evaluation process.

Hutchison Ports Announces Major Investment of US$700 million in Egyptian Port Projects in Sokhna and B100

Hutchison Ports, the global port operator, is pleased to announce a significant investment in Ain Sokhna Port, Egypt’s major port, and B100, a new container terminal in the Port of Alexandria. The total investment of the two projects is approximately US$700 million, bringing Hutchison Ports’ total investment in Egypt to over US$1.5 billion and paving a solid foundation for the company’s strategy to expand its network and enhance its capabilities in emerging markets.

On 7 October, the inland terminal Hutchison Ports Venlo will celebrate that Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam (ECT) opened its first rail terminal in Venlo 40 years ago. That marked the start of the enormous development Venlo went through from 1982 to the logistics center it is today.
