More Users Join YICT’s EDI System

In July 2001, five more shipping lines — Lykes Lines, Contship Container Lines, Maruba S. C. A., Transportation Maritima Mexicana and ZIM — became users of YICT’s Electronic Data Interchange System (EDI). YICT has provided the EDI service to 31 shipping lines so far. YICT established EDI to link the nearby territory, the terminal and Customs. It is a very convenient way for its users to obtain accurate operation status covering container movement, vessel operation and hatchprint via EDI.
